Why I feel so done with school (complaining hour):
Dear Reader,
I am a rising senior, and I cannot even begin to tell you how done I am with school. It was like any other day today. I was feeling very anxious and sad. Mostly because school was starting up again. But today was different, in that I truly reflected on what the coming semester would be like. Endless essays. Cruel teachers, and just overall never ending stress from the need to balance school and social life. I strive to be active in both, but I feel that I am always sacrificing one for the other. Anyways, I’m going off topic. I have so many fears for the coming year: what if I can’t get the final SAT score that I want; what if my grades go awry as I focus on college apps; what if I don’t get into a good university (which surprisingly, right now on my list of fears is kinda on a lower tier); what if I don’t finish my summer work??? I couldn’t be more anxious as Chandler Bing would put it. I just want to disappear into an abyss of nothingness and forget everything. But alas, nothing is that easy, so we move forward. Throughout this stress I try to focus on things I like doing, which helps curb my anxiousness. So, I guess that’s good. I would advise you reader to do the same if you feel the same as I do…
But anyways, if you are feeling this way too (whether you are a rising senior or just starting high school), you are not alone.
